ne final message on the 2012 Peach Jam Jubilee. You can see from the picture on the cover of this newsletter that a variety of familyoriented activities were enjoyed at this event.

That is the Chamber’s goal: offer a “quality of life” event that will benefit our community and surrounding areas.

Any success we enjoyed is a result of

the support received from sponsors, our county commission, the various cities and towns in this county and from the more than 100 volunteers who gave of their time and effort. The Peach Jam is a team effort!

Now, the challenge is to make it better next year.

ANNOUNCEMENT GENTIVA HOSPICE FOOD DRIVE Now through Aug. 30, Gentiva Hospice will be working with Chilton County Emergency Assistance center, collecting food and personal items in every market they serve.

All items collected will be donated for distribution to the community.

The following high-demand items are requested (no perishable items, please): canned meats and dinners, canned vegetables, soup, rice and beans.

Please bring any items donated to Gentiva Hospice, 118 Sixth St. S. Clanton or to the Chamber of Commerce.
