LETTER FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR The Christmas Season is now in full swing as we celebrate with family and friends, and, of course, enjoy holiday food with all the trimmings. As we savor this time of year, let’s not forget those who are less fortunate who need our support. There are many opportunities right here in our community for each of us to share our bounty with others.
Examples of this are the “TOYS FOR KIDS” effort sponsored by the Town of Maplesville and the Fraternal Order of Polices “OPERATION: SANTA CLAUS.” And, of course, there are many others. Don’t miss your opportunity to share with others and please remember the “THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!”

ATTITUDE – A HOLIDAY HOMILY “The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think of say or do. it is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church or a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding
the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past; we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes.” – Charles Swindoll
