Letter From executive Director As we begin 2012, plans are underway to make this year a productive one at the Chamber. Aside from those initiatives usually planned, like The Peach Jam, Ribbon Cuttings, Open Houses, etc., we will begin a new class of Chilton Leadership. Since its inception in 1998, almost 200 persons have participated in this program and been assisted as they stepped up to the next level of leadership in our community. If you have an interest, let us know. If you want to know more, ask a graduate or call

the Chamber or the County Extension office and we will give you the details on Chilton Leadership.

Also, in 2012 we will resurrect the “SHOP CHILTON COUNTY FIRST� initiative. This effort reminds us of the importance of shopping locally and supporting our local merchants at every opportunity.
