Next Month on July 9th at 11am we will launch the 2013 Shop Local Campaign here at the Chamber.

We believe this launch will generate excitement about a very worthwhile effort to remind out citizens of the importance of shopping locally and keeping these tax dollars at home. Included in the Shop Local will be signs, banners, billboards and local advertising to send this message across the county, and we hope that you will join us in this effort. Help spread the word!

Each year, Chilton County celebrates the peach harvest with a peach festival. The Chilton County Peach Festival began in 1947 and has become an honored tradition throughout the county and surrounding areas. The festival includes a pageant, parade, peach auction and several other events.

The Peach Jam Jubilee is in it’s 9th year and is held on the last Friday of June at the Clanton City Park. The Peach Jam is a family oriented event designed to provide the community with a night of entertainment, kid zone rides, food, arts & crafts vendors and much more.
