WHAT WILL I LEARN? CGA PATHWAY
You will draw upon a range of texts and engage with creative, as well as real and relevant contexts. You will have opportunities to develop higher-order reading and critical thinking skills that encourage genuine enquiry into different topics and themes.
The texts include literature and extended literary non-fiction and other writing such as essays, reviews and journalism (both print and online).
The critique and appreciation of these texts will help you develop order to acquire contextual knowledge. through commentary and editorial. as a writer in a variety of types of writing.
The course includes a spoken language accreditation. Debate and discussion are a core part of English lessons.
