Five students have places at Oxford in subjects including History, Politics, Geography, Philosophy and Biology. One student is now at Cambridge to study History and Politics.
In total a whopping 80% of CGA’s year 13s who were interviewed for Oxbridge this year gained an offer. A total of 67% of all applications were successful, this is in comparison to the offer rate of 21% for state schools nationally.
Our unique academic programme where all eligible CGA students are automatically enrolled onto the New College Step Up Programme in year 11, or enrolled as soon as they join us from other schools in year 12, strongly contributes towards our success. Our New College link has meant that year on year more and more of our students are making successful Oxbridge applications.
