It has been said that the only constant in life is change. That saying proved true once again this past school year as our student-athletes and coaches did more than just adapt to their circumstances; they faced their challenges head-on and continued to grow not only in competition but in the classroom and the community. This year we celebrated conference cham pionships, national qualifiers and numerous individual academic and athletic awards… and I believe the best is yet to come. Despite all that has changed, we are proud of our legacy as Golden Eagles and are thrilled that we will continue to proudly represent our Clarion campus and community as we always have.

Why the name "Golden Eagle Talon Club"?
When you donate $99 or more to any Clarion Golden Eagle Athletics fund, you will become a member of the club. During each athletic season (July 1 through June 30), we will keep track of your total giving to Clarion Athletics program funds. As your total level of giving rises during that time window, so does your rank in the Golden Eagle Talon Club. But I want my money to go to MY sport! WE DO, TOO! We are not asking you to do anything different from what you are already doing. Our goal is to let our supporters know they are appreciated. We are all part of a team, and the Golden Eagle Talon Club is the team name. Continue to donate in the same manner as you have in the past – to scholarships, annual funds and/ or fundraising events. It all counts!
One of the most essential attributes of the golden eagle is its talons. When you see an eagle – either hunting or simply landing on its perch – it leads with its talons. Without them, the eagle cannot survive. By supporting Clarion Golden Eagle Athletics, you are LEADING the charge for current and future student-athletes to be successful. Without YOU, our athletic program cannot survive.
