Internship at the only national assets management company in Indonesia, PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset (Persero), that has tons of exciting projects. Collaborate with senior to develop internal bulletin and Company Profile according to brand guidelines. Develop digital illustration assets for social media needs. Brainstorming, designing, and create motion graphic for Ramadhan Greeting Card. Visual design works, such as creating delightful concepts and exploring design for social media needs, create layouts for company merchandise, creating prototype for website launch and mock-ups for company mock-ups. Create short motion graphic for social media needs and Internal Meeting. Animate presentation slides about Covid prevention and Internal Appreciation into short motion graphic in Townhall Meeting. Work with creative and strategy team to compelling, edit, and retouching short video, footage, into content asset built for one of Indonesia Observance Day. Key Message: Batak, Simple, Nature, Organic

White Pepper Ground

UD.Horass, as we known ‘Horas’ identical with Batak, and this bussiness from North Sumatra, and dominated by Batak. I designed their packaging for white pepper ground in various sizes and 2 alternative colors for each size. I designed 2 alternative colors such as solid color and gradient color. Let’s take a look!

They used kraft brown paper ziplock (foodgrade) for 22g, 50g, 180g, & 200g. My client tells me that they would to give extra 10% on 20g size, that’s why I put “Extra 10%” on their 20g packaging. Hereby the prototype (Mockup) for ziplock packaging.

Of all the elements of design, color is the one that most directly affects human emotion. On packaging design, especially for Food and Beverage products, some colors can stimulate passionately hungry.

Indonesia had a tons of herbs and spices, and most of Indonesian food use spice for their flavor more tasteful. Rempah Pulau is a herbs & spices brand that sells spices, especially white pepper.

Herbs & Spice A whole logo symbolized as spice on woven bamboo tray, which logotype as a spice. Tray Traditional market of Indonesia usually used woven bamboo tray to place their herbs & spice. Those figure (on the left) represents a woven bamboo tray.

Figure Crown and Tray A whole figure (crown and tray) symbolized as satisfaction, best quality, and good service from Rempah Pulau to their customers.

Crown One of their vision is becoming the largest herbs and spices brand in the Indonesia. A crown formed by Bunga Lawang as a symbolized of herbs & spice.

On ‘h’, there’s pestle and mortar visualization thats usually used by moms, grandma, etc for grinding the spices.

Tongkonan Indonesia known as Indonesian Archipelago, that have a tons of ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group. Toraja is the one of Indonesian ethnic-group from South Sulawesi. Tongkonan, a traditional house of Torajan. One of Rempah Pulau pepper was from Sulawesi, that’s why I visualized Tongkonan as representation of South Sulawesi.

Company profile of PT PPA 2021 dominated with blue and navy colors as SOEs color guide. Designed with clean, and simple layout, PT PPA’s company profile used gradient color to avoid much negative space. Typography combination serif (PT serif) with sans-serif (Avenir) create more readability and emphasis. For title, sub-head used PT serif, and for body text using Avenir. Avenir is a geometric sans-serif font that have high readability. PT Serif can give a strong emphasis because they have a bold serif. Even though was a serif font, PT serif also have readability.

I designed PT PPA social mostly for Instagram feeds & stories, and for Linked In, I edited videos about one of Indonesian Observances days, Harbuknas (National Book Day).

Visualization Novel Illustration Installation (Thesis)

Graphic design is a process of visual communication which is text, images, and forms. The visuals displayed aim to convey information that is conveyed properly and correctly. In general, a message can be informed through verb, as delivery of disability issues that are formed through literature. However, humans will be easier to understand if there is a visual. Text visualization, works where text and visuals go hand in hand so the message conveyed can be more easily understood by the audience. To inform a messages or information can be influenced by the medium of speech. Such as installation, in general in the form of three dimension which is closely related to the relationship between the audience and the work. In installation, there are interaction by audiens which indirectly they will feel the emotion. By choosing the issue of disability, to be expected that it can provide a different view or perspective in living a life, namely through the perspective of a deaf girl.


Saraswati Si Gadis Dalam Sunyi by A. A. Navis

Saraswati Si Gadis Dalam Sunyi “SSGDS” written by A. A. Navis. It’s tells a story of a deaf girl named Saraswati who has a lot of trials of life. On SSGDS, A. A. Navis used first person point of view when he wrote the story, it seems like Saraswati communicate directly to the audiens. I divide into 5 sequence for visualization the stories. Prolog, tells about bad stigma of person with disabilities. First panel, tells about she lost her family at the same time. Second panel tells about deaf girl gets discrimination by her surrounding. Third panel tells about Saraswati starts learning alphabets. The final panel, Epilog, tells about Saraswati start a new journey of her life. Each panel will have a huge books figure represents as Saraswati behavioral. She loves read a book, and always write her feeling through her note book. Prolog In Prolog, I visualized Saraswati was isolated on a squash confinement and many eye stares to her. A squash symbolize as a bad habit of Saraswati surrounding. They always underestimate and discriminate disabilities.

Panel 1 - Losing Family At the same time, Saraswati tells her time was stopped. Her family was died in car addient. In this panel, I illustrate the clock was crack represents Saraswati feels, 2 trees different value of colors symbolized as 2 realm, and hangging clock symbolized as their memories.



Panel 2 - Discrimination After she left Jakarta, and move to her hometown, she gets verbal discrimination. As we know, some of person with disability, deaf, use sign language for communicate. Saraswati knows that sign language many used as a joke by a normal people. While she was in front of the house, 2 man moved his hand and use sign language for a joke.

Panel 3 - Learning Alphabet Her nephew willing to teach her an alphabet and read a books. Saraswati firstly know the alphabet, then a word, a sentence, until she can wrote a letter. 2 gloomy candles symbolized as the bad past of her will melt and disapear.

Epilog - New Life The final panel tells that Saraswati can communicate fluently through the words she wrote. She also able to sew a clothes.

Surrealism All illustration refers to surrealism art because the novels used many figure of speech.

Self Book Profile

In the self book profile tells about “what do you see yourself in 5 years”. Start with short introduction, and the vision & mission, goals, and strategy of 5 years later. I designed refers to keyword fun, playful, and simple. Organic lines represents as the keywords. This book profile is illustration-based that related with the content inside. I want to create a playful, fun, easygoing, and flexible. We learn in design theory, create some design must be flexible, simple, eyecatching, and easy to memorized.

Dibalik Topeng by Dolfi Inda Suri Dibalik Topeng was shown by Teater Keliling in Galeri Indonesia Kaya, Jakarta Pusat, on 17 June 2017. This show tells about two circle whose have different perspective about the meaning of life, they’re the sibling, the domineering with the grumpy, and the coward with the stupid. One day, the grumpy that rude and stubborn connected with the coward. Something the two of them had never felt before amaze them and they accept each other, that called love. But, this feeling was opposed by their other siblings whos don’t understand all of this feeling. In the end, there’s war between “love” and “hate”. The shows was staged with Betawi vibes and various cultures in Jakarta. This shows used dialect and language of Betawi that can attract attention from the audience.

Ciak Cai is one of my Univ’s project that sells healthy food. This projects was done by a team, including me. On this project, I do layouting for packaging, and simple motion graphic for the logo. The illustrations assets was illustrated by my team mate. Ciak Cai perfectly for workers that not have much time for breakfast. Ciak Cai basically a fast food with healthy concept.

Ciak Cai is a ricebox brand which sells chinese food with low calorie concept. Chinese food is more healthier because of their food processing. Most of chinese food are steamed, boiled, saute, etc. So Ciak Cai didn’t sells any fried foods that can cause fats and colesterols. Ciak Cai’s food use less salt and no MSG. Although Ciak Cai was less salt and no MSG, the flavour still perfectly tasty, because we used Indonesian’s spices, and imported chinese’s spices.

As we know, principles of design logo is simple, memorable, timeless, versatile, and appropriate, “Ciak Cai” words was simple, easy to pronounce, and memorable. Elegum

Elegum sells Indonesian traditional snack called “Kuping Gajah” (Elephant’s Ear), because the shape similar like elephant’s ear. This snacks identically with swirl line. Elegum taken from the word “ELEphant” and “sorGUM”. Elegum sells kuping gajah snack with healthier concept. They used sorgum flour, corn milk, and egg-replacer (isolated soy protein & cornstarch). They used sorgum flour as a replacement of flour, corn milk as natural sweeteners, and egg-replacer safe for they who had egg allergy. Corn milk contains rich in fiber, high in protein, highly nutrious including protein, antioxsidants, and vitamins. Using corn milk as natural sweeteners also to lower blood sugar. This snack is good for healthy because they contains less-gluten, low calorie that easy to digest.

Elegum also called as healthy snacks because they easy to digest, good for your intestines. Related to their benefits, forms of the logo refers to intestines characteristic forms, that is continous. As we know intestines had an organic shape with circle shape, that’s why I designed the logo with an organic lines and continous. ‘E’ at the beginning of the word “Elegum” visualized as elephant’s trunk represent as the name of the snack “kuping gajah”. Elegum is a project collaborating with Food Technology’s event called Food Explore. Food Technology made the healthy food, and Design departements designed the brands.

Elegum had mascot called “El”. Name “El” taken from the word “ELephant”. Elegum is a playful snack brand, so I illustrated the maskot. The mascot had a different expression and gesture in every flavour, and events. El was a expressive mascot represent as a happiness, smiley, and laughter of a teenager while they’re together, and also to attract attention from the audiens.

Packaging Design

Primary Retail Packaging

Primary retail packaging was a main package for the products that usually sells at the supermarket. Elegum is a kuping gajah snack that needs safety packaging in order to the product not break easily. Elegum’s primary packaging basically used some alumunium pouch inside the craft paper tube. This cause craft paper tube didn’t impermeable yet, so the snacks will be not cruncy anymore. In this package, will include Logo, visual identity, MUI logo, BPOM number, SoD (School of Design) logo, FaST (Faculty of Science and Technology) logo, nutrition facts, ingredients, barcode, product development & designer, expired date, flavour, flavour benefits, and unique selling point. They will be 3 flavours, such as pandan, lemon, and mix berries.

Secondary Retail Packaging Secondary retail packaging was a second package for the products which can be outer layer protector, family pack, or big pack, and quantitatively more bigger than primary packaging. Elegum’s secondary package still related to primary package that used cardbox as a medium, however this secondary package is quadrilateral. This quadrilateral will include 4 primary retail package inside. In this package, will include Logo, visual identity, MUI logo, BPOM number, SoD (School of Design) logo, FaST (Faculty of Science and Technology) logo, nutrition facts, ingredients, barcode, product development & designer, expired date, flavour, flavour benefits, and unique selling point. They will be 3 flavours, such as pandan, lemon, and mix berries.

Seasonal Packaging

Seasonal events can be the main attraction for consumers because of the 'limited edition'. Seasonal package visualized with adding some elements or assets according to the theme of the season. In this case, we also must do unity with the original or non-seasonal edition. One of seasonal events that Elegum made, is for Chinese New Year edition. Chinese New Year identically with red and yellow colors, and also elements visual that quite complex. Chinese New Year's visuals can take on elements such as zodiac, tradition, accesories mandatory, etc.

Point of Purchase

Elegum’s Point of Purchase (PoP) used Medium-density fiberboard as main materials aims to sturdy. In a reason of primary retail packaging formed as a tube, I designed the PoP “easy to pick” concept. The primary packaging will placed horizontally and will continous rolling if someone take the product one by one. This PoP can be one flavour only, or 3 flavours at a time.

Pucuk club Logo Design Keyword: Simple, strong, stocks, caterpillar

Pucuk Club

Pucuk Club is a community focused on investation discussion which cover trading stock and cryptocurrency. In Bahasa Indonesia “Pucuk” could be mean as rise up, going up, increase, that refers to profit growth. Logogram formed by a caterpillar and candlestick.

Candlestick Logogram formed between caterpillar and candlestick. A caterpillar symbolize as persistent, active, and energetic. A caterpillar will climb at the top of leaf, represents as the candlestick will go uptrend. Thats why the founder wanted visual of caterpillar in their logogram.

3JE

“3JE” is the owner of Pucuk Club that have 3 persons with initial “J”, and 1 person with initial “E”. They wanted to have a simple and constantly unity with Pucuk Club logo. 3JE logo formed by combining letter “3”, “J”, and “E”. I used closure and law of prägnanz to designed the logo.

Uptrend As we know, stocks or even cryptocurrency sometimes will uptrend or even downtrend, but the founder (also all of us) wanted to be uptrend as always. In their Instagram, will giving their analysts about stocks and inform the best way to trading or invest on stocks.


Happiness The founder wanted their audience to be always happy and smile. Their want Pucuk Club could be one of the audience trustworthy platforms about stocks and happiness. They will give the best advise and information about stocks and cryptocurrency.

Going Up Pucuk Club is a community, a platform, in social media that audience can discuss about stock, or cryptocurrency. They will analysts as best as they can, then they will inform to their social media. The negative space of logotype form into a stock graph represents as a trading, stock, and cryptocurrency.

Alphabet “i” on word “Light” arranged on “L” in order to minimize the negative space. Also aimed to create harmonies, and rhythm. Logotype designed with dots inside refers to detailed children playground and montessori toy. This reflected to the keyword playful and also this represent as the brand; a kindergarten.
