Clark Reiner's international business development and consulting career spans nearly three decades, with influential roles and significant contributions across various global markets. Between 2016 and 2017, he lived and worked in Malta and Spain, where he successfully established and managed a family office, further enhancing his profile as a seasoned international business strategist. Before settling in Europe, Clark was active in London from 2011 to 2015, contributing to a privately owned oil and gas company. His role there was critical in expanding operations and securing joint venture initiatives across diverse geographical locations, including Trinidad, Tobago, Iraq, Louisiana, and Eastern Texas. These efforts underscored his ability to navigate complex international business environments successfully. One of Clark's crowning achievements was his integral role in developing the Basra Sports Complex in Iraq. As a co-founder of Newport Global, a boutique consulting firm, he was central to the planning and execution of the Basra Sports City Complex. This project, valued at $550 million, became one of the most ambitious developments in Iraq following the Saddam era, with its main stadium inaugurated in 2013. Clark's experience extends to his time in New York, where, from 2002 to 2009, he served as Vice President at Mahler & Emerson Inc., a Broker Dealer and Registered Investment Advisory firm. He led client relations and was a co-leader in operations and compliance there. Concurrently, he was a consultant for Allied Investment House in Abu Dhabi, where he raised $80 million in debt financing for the Dubai Lifestyle City project, which spans over 4.15 million square feet. His consultancy work also included strategic advisory roles in selling financial assets and technology solutions in the Middle East.
