All students at Clarkson are eligible to work on groundbreaking research projects with our faculty experts. The experience that comes with working in a lab is sought after by grad schools and employers. Undergraduate students present papers at state, national and international conferences; get published in scholarly publications and belong to teams that are making a difference. Many students also perform research at other institutions, companies or national labs — and even in some international locales.

“I chose Clarkson because of the individualized experience this campus offers. It’s not like larger schools where you feel like just a number. Since arriving, I became a tutor, and I’m doing research with a professor. This summer, I will start a co-op with Lockheed Martin in their Rotary Mission Systems department.” Nicholas Hayko ’21
Life at Clarkson With some 3,000 undergraduate students on a wooded residential campus, Clarkson provides the atmosphere of a small, tight-knit community ideal for transfer students.

Next Steps CREDIT EVALUATION
Once you’re accepted, a relevant academic department will review your previous coursework and decide how many credits you will need to complete your degree at Clarkson. The faculty member who completes this evaluation will determine how many credits will transfer into your chosen degree program and outline a suggested course schedule for your first semester. In most cases, credit evaluations are completed and sent out to transfer students within two weeks of acceptance.
