The program is generally three semesters for full-time residential students. Online students can build part-time or full-time schedules that work for them. Part-time students generally finish the program in about two years. Full-time students can finish the program in three semesters, one year or one and a half years.

This online program, which includes two weekend on-campus modules, provides you with the skills to acquire, interpret and communicate healthcare data and shape the direction of the healthcare industry. As a graduate, you will be prepared to take positions in healthcare organizations that require you to analyze high volumes of clinical, administrative and financial data. Career Outlook The move to electronic medical records has spurred demand for professionals who have the skills to analyze data and understand public health issues. With high demand in healthcare, employment of management analysts is projected to grow 14% from 2014 to 2024, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Degree Requirements The MS in healthcare data analytics program comprises 36 credit hours, 27 of which consist of core healthcare and data analytics courses, and nine of which are open for electives that suit your interests. Students usually complete this program in one to two years. Healthcare management courses are combined with courses in data acquisition and mining, data analytics, business intelligence and statistics — all in the context of healthcare. Students will acquire practical, marketable skills as they gain an understanding of how to obtain, interpret and communicate healthcare data to shape the direction of the healthcare industry. The program offers a combination of theory and hands-on experiences. Courses are taught by a mix of fulltime faculty and experts in the field who will provide insights from provider, payer and consumer perspectives. Degree Requirements The MBA in healthcare management program consists of 48 credits earned by completing seven core courses, seven advanced courses and two electives. Full-time students generally complete the program in two years or less, whereas part-time students generally complete the program in two to four years. Additionally, MBA students without professional business experience are required to complete a minimum of 400 hours of professional employment in a business environment. This is not one of the 14 required courses, but registration is required (no tuition). Most internships are paid.

An Interdisciplinary Program for High-Performing Professionals Who Have an Established Track Record of Success

oday’s ever-changing economy requires well-trained professionals to plan and manage the activities through which products and services are created and distributed. Clarkson’s online Master of Science in Supply Chain Management is designed to meet this need. The program provides integrated learning opportunities for those interested in becoming proficient in effectively managing complex supply chains and prepares them for a wide range of positions, including purchasing managers, supply managers and directors of material management. The program is the first online MS in supply chain management offered in New York state designed for working professionals. It offers a synchronous component in each class that heavily emphasizes interaction and collaboration among faculty and students. The program is 30 credits and has an expected completion time of one year (full-time). Part-time options are also available.

Scholarships All students applying for graduate business programs will automatically be considered for meritbased scholarships and need not fill out a separate scholarship form. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement (GPA) and test scores (GMAT/GRE). There are four base award levels, described below. These levels range from a tuition discount of at least 15% up to at least 75% and are based upon the overall merits of a candidate’s application. Additional consideration is given for professional work experience. All awards are based on a percentage of the total cost of the specific program the student enrolls in. — Fellowship (3.3 GPA, 550 GMAT) – at least 15%. — Dean’s (3.5 GPA, 600 GMAT) – at least 25%. — Presidential (3.7 GPA, 650 GMAT) – at least 40%. — Trustees (3.9 GPA, 700 GMAT) – at least 75%.
Early Decision Award: Residential Programs Students who commit to Reh for a residential, cohortbased business program (e.g., one-year residential MBA) by the end of the calendar year prior to the following fall term will be eligible (upon enrollment in the program) to receive an additional “Commit to Reh” award. This would be added to their existing merit scholarship. These awards vary from $3,000-$9,000 based upon the type of merit award given.
