H O LIDAY
Winter Wonderland We can all agree that the lights and the sounds are two of the best aspects of every holiday season. The annual Christmas Lights at Clarksville Speedway’s are up and running and will be shining bright from now through New Year’s Day. Start or continue a holiday tradition this year. Come enjoy the lights and synchronized sounds during a one-mile drive through boasting over three million bright lights. Each Friday and Saturday night Santa will be at the speedway kissing babies, shaking hands and taking photos and gift requests. There are several animated scenes throughout the
one-mile drive-thru display. Christmas music plays throughout the light shows scenic drive. One great thing about a drive thru light show is that it broadens the potential audience. Elderly and little ones can enjoy this event without the threat of walking long distances and being out in severe temperatures. This is also a great way for people who are not able to walk for long periods of time to enjoy the beauty of Christmas. You do not have to leave your vehicle to experience the beautiful light display. Make Clarksville Speedway’s Christmas Lights
THE ROMAN PRISON ESCAPE GAME Have you ever wondered what it was like for Paul and Silas who were imprisoned for nearly 2 years for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ? In a dark and dingy jail cell is where Paul wrote several letters to the churches that are referenced in Revelations.
We offer to you a look into that time period and give you the chance to "escape" from the Roman Prison these apostles were confined to. You have one hour to follow the clues, find Paul’s letters and escape or the New Testament will not be written like it is supposed to be.
We encourage groups of 5-8 people, but participants can be placed with other smaller teams if needed. The game is played on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. There is no charge, however 48 hour advanced reservations are required. Go to www.mounthermonbaptist.org/escapegame or call the church office at 931-362-3323.
