1954 Citröen 11B
In 1954 there were two different versions of 11B model, normal and ligero (light). The main difference between them is that normal is a little bit longer and wider. In 1948, the 11 was available only in black. A new grille was fitted to the 11 Normale in 1949. The range remained effectively unchanged until 1953 when an extended boot was fitted and the 11CV was made available in dark grey. Although the car's name emphasized its front-wheel drive power delivery “Traction Avant" literally means “front traction”. The car stood out at least as much by its much lower profile and stance, made possible by the absence of a separate chassis under the car's unitary body, sharply distinguishing it visually from its contemporaries. The 11CV acquired an extra 2 bhp in 1950. The 11 Normale became available as an eight seat familiale and conduite intérieure Commerciale and purchasers were no longer restricted to black coachwork.
This bitone black and grey model is specially used for weddings in Andalucia. A confortable car that still works perfectly, always reliable and ready for the most important day of your life.
