What are the type of chairs people love and why do they love them? Why are some chairs so precious to someone that people immediately relates this person with it? -Father’s chair, Grandma’s chair... Why are rocking chairs so fun to stay at? Why do people relates rocking chairs to old style chairs?
To approach a more FUN way to be seated, we decided to work with motion. Remembering how fun was to be in a swing, a hammock or a rocking chair as a kid.
How can we make more FUN to be seated in a modern house?
The result was a 360 rocking chair, and it really rocks!!
First sketches, color proposition and analysis of movement.
The form of the chair let the user sit cross legged to increase the fun sensation of rocking. At the same time the user can decide to stay still and just rest.

Books were placed in different places making disorder. Small apartments where big book shelves won’t fit. Some Furniture isn’t the style of the owner but to fit in budget was bought or received from a friend. Many apartment owners expressed their taste for graffiti and urban style. Some of them even have graffiti on their walls. Those who own their apartments make a stronger effort to have furniture according to their style.
Different possible configurations to adapt to users needs and small spaces.

PRODUCT DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROJECT
Christmas was arriving and the window display competition was near. Awen Design (furniture company) wanted to show their red closets at their best. Wanted clothes that almost look like a fabric one, but that attracted people to look closer. The way the paper clothes hang must reflect the way fabric clothes do.
Real clothes and shoes where compared to give more reality to the folded paper.
Different types of paper were used during the modeling of the paper shirt to simulate the way a real one will hang.
