1. Why did you choose to work in the beauty market? I chose the beauty market because I can develop two faces that I really like to work on: the artistic side and the technical side. In the artistic part we study colors, shapes, photographs, films, fashion trends, creation and development of images. In the technical part we need to learn about the structure and functioning of the skin, asepsis of materials and also have mastery over the visagism and personalized care of each case. 2. How was the beginning of your career? I took professional makeup courses to learn about the most technical part - correct application of the products, visagism and colorimetry - and also assisted several make-up artists to learn in practice how the makeup artist’s day-to-day role works. 3. What was the biggest difficulty you encountered at the beginning of your career? The greatest difficulty was mounting the case itself without help, without knowing in depth the products on the market. I went wrong until I found the right products, bought several that I did not even use until I found the ones that had the result I was looking for. 4. What do you do to stay current in the profession? I try to go to all the fairs and events related to beauty and also read some fashion and makeup blogs. In addition I try to follow the launches of makeup and cosmetics, I love seeing new products and formulations on the market. It is very important to always keep up to date and dedicate yourself to creating new experiences, because in order to succeed you must always innovate. 5. What is the secret of success for a beauty professional? Master the service you are offering, improve yourself by seeking more and more knowledge. Always be accessible, both with clients and colleagues, not be afraid to exchange ideas and share information with other professionals in the field. Keep up to date with fashion trends and product launches. 6. Tell us a trend of makeup that professionals can not fail to know?
