If you haven’t already, register with the RPOA Home Depot ProXtra program and provide your information, payment methods, and add the code NREIA to each of your payment methods. Visit www.rpoaonline.org for more on how to sign up for the RPOA Home Depot ProXtra program to ensure that you get your discounts AND the 2% rebate on eligible purchases.

Step 1 - Go to http://nationalreia.org/hdcabinets/ Step 2 - Download Hampton Bay Catalog Download the Hampton Bay catalog and browse the cabinets and finishes available for RPOA members under the HD cabinet program and select your cabinet style. You can also save a copy of the catalog. (However, keep in mind that the catalog may be updated.) Click This Button to Download the Hampton Bay Cabinet Catalog

Step 3 – Request Your Discount Coupon Scroll down the screen to the coupon form and complete the form, including: First Name Last Name Email Company Name (If applicable.) Street Address (Not the worksite address.) City State Zip Code Phone Number Association (Enter ) Estimated Deadline Date for Your Project (In this date format (mm/dd/yy.) Click the Send button. National REIA will mail you the coupon. It is a “one time use” coupon and cannot be used again. You’ll need the coupon in order to receive the cabinet discount.


Step 4 – Download & Complete the Design Connect Form Once you’ve selected the cabinets and style you wish to order, click on Download Design Connect Form button on the main Hampton Bay Cabinets for the Pro page. This will open a PDF version of the Design Connect form. Complete required information on the form, including: Member Number (Enter the phone number you have registered with your Home Depot ProXtra account.) Date Customer’s Name (The same name you used on the Coupon form.) Jobsite Address (This may be different than your company or personal address.) Email Phone Number Budget Per/Unit (Enter the budget for cabinets for the kitchen or bathroom you are installing.) ADA Compliance (Indicated whether or not the cabinet design needs to be ADA compliant.) Select Your Cabinet Style and Color Date Quote Needed (Enter the date by which you need the quote and design.) Save the completed form or print the form out and scan and email to Pro_Collaboration_Center@ homedepot.com along with the site measurements, drawings and photos or fax the form to 678-797-8076 with the measurements, drawings and photos. Step 5 – Getting Your Cabinets Once your design is complete, take your design AND your coupon to your Home Depot store. You can pick up your cabinets or they will be delivered to your job site (if the minimum required number of cabinets was met). You must have your completed cabinet design and your coupon. You must have both to make your purchase. (You may design your own cabinet layout. See below.) You may not take a picture of the coupon—you must have a physical copy of the coupon for scanning.


Frequently Asked Questions: Do I have to use the design service or can I simply order the coupon and go to the store with the coupon and pick out our cabinets there? You may absolutely do this! The coupon applies to the in-stock Hampton Bay cabinets so if you have the know-how and know exactly what you want you can bypass the design service and just make your purchase.

If I use the design service and don’t like their design—do I contact the designer and get it modified to our preference or can I take the design sent to me and fix the design at the store? You may do either. However, there has been one instance where that was done and the changes the store made caused a glitch where the coupon did not work on the cabinets entered by the store. It caused the store to have to manually process the discount on those cabinets--causing some frustration for the member and the store. If at all possible, stick with the same designer that the design was started with.

Will I be assigned a specific designer throughout the whole design process? Once a designer starts your project they will try to stay with the same designer throughout the project. I am sure there will be exceptions to this due to schedules and member timelines. But… they will make their best effort to keep it consistent.

Who sends me back the design once it is done? (Will the email be obvious or will it be from an individual with Home Depot?) The email should come from the design connect team email and not an individual.

What if the store does not have the cabinets I need in stock that fit my design? The program offers the stock cabinets to be ordered, usually shipping within 48 hours. Depending on the cabinets selected it could take up to 2 weeks to ship. If you are using only the cabinets stocked in the store and need them before they can be shipped Home Depot can fulfill the order from surrounding stores.

Do I pick my delivery options when I place my order and pay for it at the store? Your delivery options can be finalized with your designer and added to your quote or you may set that up directly at the store when purchasing.

Can I pick up my cabinets the same day as I purchase them if I’m not ordering anything special? Yes you may! You will need to allow the store time to get those pulled and ready for you but if it is all in stock you may pick them up same day.

Are the finishes under the discount program the only finishes available from Hampton Bay? If not, can our members order other finishes but at different terms and pricing? There are other finishes and styles that are available but they are not included in the program and the coupon cannot be applied. The pricing on those will be subject to any current store promotions and VPP (bidroom) pricing, if qualified. However, all purchases are subject to accumulation for the 2% bi-annual rebate though.

Does the 2% rebate still apply to cabinet purchases in a six month period that exceed $5,000? The 2% will apply to ALL purchases as long as the minimum is met and the credit cards used to pay for the purchase are registered with the NREIA code. (See how to register for the 2% rebate here.) Form and fax it to the RPOA office at 616-454-6163 OR send us an e-mail with the same information to: contactrpoa@rpoaonline.org. (DO NOT fax applications to us.) • You must have the following minimum information to run a report: • First and last name of prospective tenant(s).

• Current address of the prospective tenant, including street with number, city, state and zip code. • Social Security Number. • Date of Birth • Your RPOA member #, name of membership, and an indication on how you would like the completed reports handled, i.e. faxed back to you (if so, provide the fax number), or you will call the office for the report, or you will pick up the report in person. • WAIT AT LEAST THREE (3) HOURS before contacting the RPOA office for your reports. Though we can sometimes get reports done quicker, there are many things out of our control that can interfere with this process, including but not limited to credit reporting agency computer problems. • Contact us for your decision report results promptly. For reasons of confidentiality we shred all reports after 3 days.

OTHER GUIDELINES FOR DECISION REPORTS: • You cannot run a decision report on yourself. • You can only run a decision report on another family member if you are doing a business transaction with that person that is related to real estate or rental property. • You cannot run a decision report for another business person, real estate agent or landlord. Your credit reporting privileges through RPOA extend only to your personal business. • You can only run a decision report for a legitimate business transaction where credit is required. These transactions include owner financed real estate, leasing, collections and land contracts. • You must follow all the rules and regulations of the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. A copy of this Act is available at the RPOA. • You must give a person denied housing or financing because of information contained in a credit report a notice to that effect. Examples of notices that you can use and what needs to be included in the notice can be found in the RPOA office; or log on to the RPOA website (www.rpoaonline.org) and go to Tenant Screening.
