Our two-course Digital Film Technician Certificate Program focuses on on-set film production skills that can be applied to every media project from film to TV to online to commercials, training videos, game design and more. Our Post-Production Film Editing: Intro to Editing course will provide students with basic-level skills related to digital film and video editing and post-production. These courses are affordable, convenient and very powerful in building students’ skills and knowledge on a path to becoming a digital media professional.

Financial Assistance Resources Since the Clayton State University Center for Continuing Education does not offer degree-seeking credit, we are unable to process traditional forms of financial aid such as HOPE Grant or Scholarship, Pell Grant, etc. You do not need to complete a FAFSA form for our courses. Smart Option Student Loans Smart Option Loans for Continuing Education are available through Sallie Mae and may be tax-deductible. Pay more now: (Interest Repayment) Pay interest while in school and have a shorter repayment period after school to save an average of 30% on your total loan cost compared to our deferred repayment option. You will work in teams practicing on one another. This program includes 64 hours of classroom training and a 40 hour externship to provide you with a complete learning experience. Belligerent, abusive, profane, threatening and/or inappropriate behavior on the part of students is a violation of the Clayton State University Student Code of Conduct. Possession, consumption of or the furnishing of alcoholic beverages or drugs on the Clayton State University campus or any area affiliated with Clayton State University is prohibited. Students who are found in violation of the Code of Conduct may be subject to immediate dismissal and may be prohibited from registering for additional Continuing Education classes.

REFUND POLICY: Clayton State University Center for Continuing Education is self-supporting, so student registration fees must cover the costs associated with developing and delivering high quality courses. IF WE CANCEL A COURSE: Each course is closely monitored to ensure sufficient enrollment. Three business days prior to the start date, if we do not have sufficient enrollment to cover our costs, we may have to cancel or postpone the course. We will notify students by phone and email. Students may choose to receive a full refund or transfer to a different course. Before a transfer is completed, any differences in registration fees will be refunded, if amount of new course is less than original fee, or must be paid, if fee for new course is greater than original fee.

All Continuing Education students are expected to uphold the highest honor and integrity in completing class assignments. Plagiarism, cheating and all other forms of academic dishonesty are expressly forbidden. A student engaging in, or assisting others to engage in, such acts will result in dismissal without refund and may be prohibited from registering for additional Continuing Education classes. CEUs will not be awarded and a failing grade will be assigned on the student’s transcript (if applicable).

There is no fee for transcripts. Transcripts only include completed courses.
