GOOGLE PROJECT MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE

Whether at a small company or a large enterprise, project managers are responsible for delivering projects on time and on budget.

Learn about project management including the project lifecycle, common project management approaches, stakeholder management, influencing, critical thinking in problem solving and effective communication. Successful completion qualifies students for over 100 hours of project management education that apply directly to the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

No prior experience or specific knowledge is required. All you need is an interest in solving problems and working with people.

In a unique opportunity provided by Google, we are able to offer four career certificates designed by the company’s senior practitioners at a reduced rate. Each certificate program can be completed in less than 6 months with 10 hours of focused time per week in an entirely online, self-paced environment. These certificates are not instructor-led. Note: If you do not complete the entire certificate in one semester, you may re-enroll in a subsequent semester for continued access.

GOOGLE IT SUPPORT CERTIFICATE

This course is part of an initiative by Google, based on the training it developed to prepare its own IT support staff. Coursework includes a combination of online lectures, quizzes and hands-on lab activities covering technical support fundamentals, computer networking, operating systems, system administration, IT infrastructure and IT security. This program also prepares you for the CompTIA A+ exam, the industry standard certification for IT. No prior experience or specific knowledge is required.

GOOGLE USER EXPERIENCE (UX) DESIGN CERTIFICATE

UX designers spend their time making, creating and organizing the interfaces people interact with daily, like mobile apps, websites, smartwatches and physical products. Their work ensures that these interfaces are accessible as well as easier and more enjoyable to use.

Explore the design process, including empathizing with users, defining their pain points, coming up with ideas for design solutions, creating wireframes and prototypes and testing designs to get feedback.

No prior experience with design or specific tools required. All you need is an interest in helping to create better experiences for users of apps, websites and physical products.

GOOGLE DATA ANALYTICS CERTIFICATE

Data analysts prepare, process and analyze data to help inform decisions in industries from business to healthcare to education.

This program prepares students for an entrylevel position in the field of data analytics. Develop in-demand data analytics skills using spreadsheets, SQL, R and Tableau. You’ll even have the opportunity to complete a case study that you can share with potential employers to showcase your new skill set. No prior experience or specific tools required. All you need is high-school-level math and a curiosity about how things work!
