Take your creativity to the next level! This course allows artists, general fabricators, hobbyists and anyone interested in applying the fundamentals of welding to their projects or profession. Students will practice the four primary processes of arc welding and learn which best suits their desired application. The course will begin with an overview of safety and equipment operation. Each week will feature instruction and practice in each of the four welding disciplines. Students will also learn which equipment and processes are best to continue their practice at home.

Safety equipment is included in the cost of the course. Students must furnish their own pair of work boots and wear appropriate welding work attire, such as long pants, in the lab. Course takes place on the Lake County Tech Campus, located near the Grayslake Campus of CLC.
