The nostalgia of Clear Lake is something that many carry with them forever. Once you set foot in Clear Lake, you will find yourself reliving the cherished moments you made with your friends and family. Clear Lake is one of those towns that you want to call yours.
Where else can you relive your love of cars? The annual Classic Car Show is held the first weekend in August. This is where you can see thousands of cars cruising the shores of Clear Lake. A beautiful place to make your family memory is to bring a lawn chair and sit near the sea wall. The classic cars roll through, and the nostalgia of Clear Lake will fill your soul. Thousands swarm to Clear Lake to celebrate the 4th of July holiday. You may be thinking that it’s too crowded to visit, but it’s not. There are beaches, swimming, a carnival featuring Evans United Shows, family games, BINGO, shopping, arts and craft show, water activities, boating, music, and of course, the largest display of fireworks in the midwest.
The legendary Surf Ballroom is where you can experience music from all genres. Plan to visit the first weekend in February and you will want to sport your 50s wear, as the life of Buddy Holly is celebrated. While strolling through the downtown area of Clear Lake, you will see several bricks. This is where you will see how special Clear Lake is to many people. Look down when you walk and look at the brick in front of you. This is where you will meet a family that has a vacation home in Clear Lake, a yearround resident of Clear Lake, a proud graduate of Clear Lake High School or maybe a proud business owner.
It’s evident that through these bricks, the nostalgia of Clear Lake is something that no one can place a price tag on. It’s an experience that lives in the hearts of all who set foot in this nostalgic town. What are you waiting for? Experience and allow the nostalgia of Clear Lake to be part of you.
