It’s a good opportunity to improve particular skills, and has also given me a greater understanding of my English ability. José Luis, Spain

Private Tuition

Intensive, flexible programmes to suit your individual objectives You may have very specific objectives, with the result that a group course is not right for you. If so, private tuition is the ideal solution.

18

With a private tuition course, you receive the dedication of a personal tutor who will create a programme just for you. At the beginning of your course, we will perform a detailed analysis of your objectives and will obtain regular feedback from you to make sure your objectives are met.

Some students choose to combine private tuition with one of our group courses (e.g. General English, Executive English etc), so that they spend half the time in a group and half the time in private tuition. If you wish, you may also choose to take your individual tuition with one or two friends or colleagues - making it a 2:1 or 3:1 course.

www.lscstanton.co.uk

Course options You can choose to study as little or as much as you want. Most of our private tuition students choose to study for between 10-15 lessons per week. This flexible approach means that you have control of the intensity of your course and schedule.

Private tuition Course structure

Flexible number of lessons Individually structured course to meet student objectives

Is this course for me?

What happens in class?

There is no ‘typical’ private tuition student. You may believe that a group course is not the best solution for you, or you may have limited time available due to a busy career or home life. Students choosing private tuition do so for a number of different reasons, such as: > priority focus on specific areas of interest > preparation for an important presentation at work > increasing confidence in preparation for an English language conference, seminar or meeting > increasing overall level of confidence in all aspects of English language > wish for tutor to focus 100% on individual objectives

Some students identify a specific area in which they need to improve. This requires totally personalised and focused training which a group course may not be able to provide. All our individual tuition programmes include a detailed needs analysis leading to an individual training programme ensuring that we maintain complete focus on the objectives that are established.

The results By the end of the course you will be able to: > significantly improve your performance in priority areas > understand your own strengths and identify future areas of focus > speak with greater confidence, fluency and accuracy > use a greatly increased vocabulary

Dates, times and fees Please refer to the ‘Key facts’ table for information on course start dates. Our fees are shown on our website and on our price list.
