Friends and Loyal Customers, Another decade is behind us and thank you all for a busy 2019! A true spring led into a mild summer and a beautiful fall. We hope you all reaped the benefits of a strong economic season, and wish you luck as we enter another year in the green industry. Our loyal crew of men and women here at Clearview Nursery put in a successful production season and had the nursery looking great. We cannot thank them enough for their dedication throughout the years. We are offering a few new product lines this season; our annual program is in this year’s catalog (page 4). Spring annuals are scheduled to be available around Mother’s Day. We are not growing bedding plants, but we will have specialty ornamentals, looking prime for container gardening. We have seen increasing demand in plug material for rain gardens and retention basins in planting spec’s required for all new construction in the area. In response, we will be offering perennial, grass, and aquatic plug liners in 2020 (page 5). Plug liners will be available throughout the year, however a few days’ notice will be necessary to ensure availability. If there is material that you do not see in our 2020 Catalog, either cultivar or size of plant, please do not hesitate to ask. Our vast network of growers, brokers, and re-wholesalers give us access to an array of plant material from across the country. We are happy to quote any of your plant lists and will do our best to fill your needs throughout the season. Again, we wish you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2020 season, and thank you for your continued loyalty to our family business. The Wright Family and Staff at Clearview Nursery Inc.

Ground Cover Our family has been producing quality groundcover for over 40 years. Our plants are propagated in-house and grown in a variety of sizes and containers to suit the needs of our clientele. Large quantities of all groundcover are available year-round. Size Descriptions Peat Pots- 2 ¼” peat-moss based pots are sold in flats of 50 plants. Each plant should be individually planted WITH the pot which will break down a few weeks after the installation. As growers, we strongly recommend the use of peat pots over rooted cuttings. When using this method the plants are not disturbed, and continue growing in the same medium as when they left our nursery. Success rate is substantially increased when using peat pots. (2 ¼” PP) 3.5” pots- Three and one-half inch square plastic pots are sold in trays of 18 plants/pots per tray. Plants sold in this container size are well rooted and ready for installation. (3.5” pot) Rooted Cuttings- Propagated cuttings are rooted in a professional mix designed to promote the growth of a healthy root system. Flats are sold with 100 cuttings each. Extra care is recommended when landscaping with rooted cuttings and consistent watering is necessary until plants are established. (R.C.)
