INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Layout the hole locations. Mark 1 11/16" on a 1/2" drill bit. Drill holes 1 11/16" deep in wood post at both ends of the cable run. 2. Insert the First Wood Inside Post Mount with the wood screw. Very dense woods may need pre-drilling. 3. Slide the Uncrimped Threaded Crimp Fitting on the cable, then slide the plastic washers on the cable. Slide the Cable Stop on the cable and double crimp it so that it is flush with the end of the cable. 4. Thread the Uncrimped Threaded Fitting into the Wood Inside Post Mount 2 turns.
Each crimped fitting should be crimped twice (as shown) to maintain proper cable tension. DIAGRAM 1
5. Slide the Insert Sleeve into place, but leave it loose. Then slide the cable through the intermediate posts, sliding on Insert Sleeves.
POST
6. Insert the Last Wood Inside Post Mount with the wood screw. 7. Slide the Insert Sleeve onto the cable. Pull cable tight and cut per Diagram 2. 8. Double crimp the Threaded Crimped Fitting and turn it into the first post so that you get 3 full threads turned in. Do not thread more than this since you may need room for adjustments later.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Layout the hole locations. Each end of the Wood Dual Inside Post Mount system will require 2 holes. Mark 2 1/2" on a 1/2" drill bit. Drill angled holes 2 1/2" deep in wood post at both ends of the cable run. Then you will drill level holes 1 5/8" deep using the same 1/2" bit. 4. Thread the Uncrimped Threaded Fitting into the Wood Inside Post Mount only 2 turns.
