Block C Club helps to enhance the lifelong experience of Clemson student-athletes. Block C Club has four main purposes as a part of its mission - to provide fellowship among all letterwinners, recognize and honor former student-athletes, provide outreach to letterwinners in an effort to re-engage them with Clemson University and to educate current coaches and student-athletes about the history of Clemson athletics.
MAJOR GIFTS
The Cornerstone Partners concept was implemented in IPTAY 2015. The goal of the initiative was to secure 10 partners with gifts of $2.5M or above. 14 partners were secured in the first five years of the program including the largest gift in Clemson history at the time. Three Cornerstone Partner gifts were added in 2022 for an IPTAY total of 25.

HEAR HER ROAR
The Hear Her Roar initiative raises awareness and financial support specifically for Clemson’s women student-athletes, providing them a premier collegiate experience both athletically and academically. IPTAY is committed to the growth of opportunities and access for the 12 NCAA Division I women’s programs sponsored by Clemson University. Groundbreaking Title IX legislation which paved the way for women in college athletics turned 50 in June of 2022. The Hear Her Roar initiative celebrates this milestone, while setting up future generations for success at Clemson.

Sport specific giving was released during the IPTAY 2022 year. Today all donors have the opportunity to make gifts that will directly impact a specific program and its student-athletes. IPTAY in conjunction with coaches and athletic department administrators are able to identify needs for their respective programs and solicit support for those needs.

Clemson athletics and IPTAY launched Clemson+, a streaming service dedicated to showing what it’s like to be a Tiger. Clemson+ showcases the best video content, and is available on all major streaming platforms, via the ClemsonTigers app and web browser. The subscription is included as an exclusive benefit to more than 26,000 IPTAY and Collegiate Club members.

IPTAY continues to expand its footprint in the digital and social space. During IPTAY 2022, the flagship IPTAY Twitter handle crossed the 14,000 follower mark. John N. “Nicky” McCarter, Jr., a 1980 graduate of Clemson University through his generous Cornerstone Partner pledge of $2.5M to IPTAY and Clemson athletics in 2017, officially named the IPTAY Center in March of 2020; the McCarter Family IPTAY Center. His gift has been used to further the success of the Clemson student-athlete experience.
