TPW positions available require one (1) week training period, are initially considered intermittent (current intermittent staff are averaging 30+ hours/wk) and may provide opportunities to permanent employment at SODC. Duties include: travel between 1–3 centers as needed assisting the Inclusion Manager by primarily working with children in the classrooms, The individual will also assist the Inclusion Manager in completing and organizing files on children with special needs, and helping parents understand their advocacy role and assisting them with that role. Demonstrate knowledge of the Head Start Performance Standards, child growth and development, interrelationships with other program area designs, and knowledge of federal, state and local health/disability systems and resources.
