THE BOAR REPORT MIKE ARNOLD- The BoarsHead Bait & Carryout

Boar’s Head Report Mike Arnold, Owner 724-1211

Howdy Everyone, Fall is here and it is a great time to fish or hunt, whichever you do, both are very good. The crappie fishing is on right now, look near the back of coves. Use minnows, waxworms, grubs and jigs for bait. Strippers have been found around the campground beach, use chicken liver and white roostertails, also Tonnellmill largemouth bass, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, catfish nightcrawlers, and bait.

Hunting has been good with some nice buck check ins so far - 21 pt., 15 pt. and a couple of 13 pt, 12 pt around 400 deer checked in so far. With the rut on we should see more come in. Youth hunt is November 20th and 21st, gun week is November 29th thru December 5th and gun weekend is December 18th and 19th. Muzzleloader week is January 8th to

East Fork Fishing & Hunting Report January 11th 2011. Bow runs till February 6th, 2011. Rabbit season runs Nov. 5th to Feb. 28, 2011. Fox, raccoon, skunk, and weasel run Nov. 10th to January 31, 2011. And don’t forget, coyote run all the time so see one, take it - they are getting bad. I’ve seen a pack of 6 and 10 running together. We need to get some them thinned out. Duck season runs different times so check
