The Village of Ripley has an immediate opening for a full-time Chief of Police. The Police Chief performs a wide range of public safety and administrative duties. Applicants will be required to work some weekends, day shift, night shift and other varying special assignments dependent upon need. The successful applicant must complete a background check, psychological evaluation, medical exam and pass the interview process. The applicant must meet statutory requirements to serve as a law enforcement officer. Certification through the Ohio Law Enforcement Training Center is required.
