The next meeting of the Winchester Festival on Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m. has been canceled. We will keep you posted when we can resume meetings. The 2020 Census documents have been mailed. I found out that they use our physical address, not Post Office Box number, and there is no forwarding. Everyone probably knows that you can get online to complete the information. I just wanted to let you know that the documents would not have been forwarded to the Post Office Box. The cemetery cleanup day on Saturday, March 28 has been cancelled. We will notify you of a reschedule date. The Noblemen Quartet at

the Winchester United Methodist Church has been canceled. The 2020 Winchester High School Alumni will be held on May this year in the newly renovated Winchester gym. Let me know if your class (1950, 1955, 1960 and 1965) will be recognized and I can help with getting out addresses and phone numbers. We will continue to post information on Facebook and will be asking for help to set up and take down the tables and chairs. We will decorate on Friday evening and I will let you know the times. I will begin working on the mailing lists this week. Please let me know any changes. Winchester’s Past (Florence Bryson): The Mother of Dove Rotroff

By 1850, they were living on a 238-acre farm in Winchester and listed as a farmer in the 1850 and 1860 census. On the 1870 and 1880 census, they are listed as a retired farmer. Nancy died in 1885 and John in 1887 and both are buried in the old part of the cemetery in Winchester. (to be continued) I no longer have a home phone but can be reached at (937) 205-2309.
