Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the VILLAGE OF GEORGETOWN, Ohio, passed on the AUGUST 7, 2019, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the GENERAL ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of November, 2019 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation: At the election held on November 6, 2018, voters approved a tax levy of 9.5 mills for a continuing period of time for the benefit of Village of Georgetown for the purpose of fire protection and emergency medical services. A petition filed by electors proposes a decrease in the rate of tax to 2.5 mills, being a reduction of 7 mills. Shall the tax be reduced from 9.5 mills to 2.5 mills?
