See Also 2022 Art Installation
Our annual See Also summer art installation in the Eastman Reading Garden hosts interactive, engaging public art projects through a generous endowment from the Lockwood Thompson Fund. This year’s installation is created by Yeju Choi and Chat Travieso, designers/artists based in New York City. Yeju & Chat has been creating site-specific, community-based, and socially engaged public art projects since 2013.

Never, Ever Give Up: Letters of Hope
Take part in an interactive public art installation and help spread hope. Since 2018, Never, Ever Give Up - CLE has been collecting one-page, handwritten stories of struggle answering the question “What is the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?” Visitors share stories of struggle and letters of hope. In response, readers write back letters of hope, containing words of encouragement, support, and connection. The anonymous local storytelling project strives to bear witness, break down stigma, and build community.
