ACADEMIC LIFE Pupils at Salvatorian College have a distinguished tradition of achieving academic excellence and high standards. The curriculum we provide reflects pupils own interests and we encourage them to develop strategies for personalised and independent learning from a very early age. Our curriculum provides breadth and depth and allows pupils to choose subjects that reflect their own strengths. The highest quality teaching and learning ensure pupils are supported both in the classroom and beyond to achieve their full academic potential. We have excellent links with our partner primary schools, other local secondary schools and various different universities and colleges of further education. We understand that learning can take place in so many different situations both in and beyond the classroom. Our pastoral care system meets the changing needs of pupils as they grow and develop. We seek to ensure that every child will have support throughout their education, and will feel very much part of their form, the year group, and the whole school.

We understand the importance of rewarding pupils when they do well and promote a motivational culture where pupils are actively encouraged to achieve their potential.
