Providing a diverse curriculum which stretches and inspires

Talented mathematicians, scientists, artists and linguists have all ignited their passion at our school. We offer pupils a broad and balanced range of subjects, to ensure each leaves with an enviable depth of knowledge and experience.

We follow the national curriculum at KS3, with bespoke options pathways at KS4 so that the curriculum is accessible to all pupils.

Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE) is embedded throughout the curriculum, as well as being discretely taught, and pupils are supported with strong careers guidance to prepare them for the next steps in their learning. Our strong academic track record has resulted in the majority of our pupils successfully achieving university places, including at ‘Russell Group’ universities.

The arts are valued within our curriculum to develop pupils’ confidence, articulation and creativity, so that they can engage in their wider communities. All pupils are expected

and encouraged to participate in the vast array of activities offered. In addition to our strong academic curriculum, we offer excellent ‘professional’ programmes; enabling our pupils to achieve university and employerrecognised qualifications and access to highquality vocational apprenticeships and higher education.
