Our mission at More House is to provide an environment for pupils to gain the qualifications they need to pursue the courses and careers of their choice, and also the confidence and self assurance to meet the challenges that lie ahead in an ever changing world.

WELCOME On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors, I am proud to welcome you to More House School for Girls. I am delighted that you have expressed an interest in our school, a hidden gem in the heart of London More House girls are adaptable, resilient, caring and socially aware individuals, educated and accomplished to their full potential, and fully prepared for the fast-moving environment of 21st century life. At More House we provide the opportunity to learn in a nurturing environment that is high in challenge but low in stress. Our size means that we are small enough to meet the learning needs of each individual but large enough to challenge and provide a wealth of opportunities – academic, sporting, musical and social. We have outstanding pastoral support to enable our girls to flourish in a caring environment that recognises and cherishes them as individuals. We are not a hot house, we are a green house. Pupils are encouraged to examine their religious, philosophical and ethical values, to rehearse those difficult questions before they face them for real. We express our spirituality in how we treat one another, how we serve, what we believe in, and our responsibility for others less fortunate than ourselves. Everyone at More House is part of a community – we are a large family and not just a school. All girls are different but all girls matter.

We believe that everyone has excellence within them Our ethos, environment, small classes and supportive atmosphere will help your daughter grow as an individual. Faith, Values & Understanding We are proud of our Catholic heritage and ethos. It gives us a spiritual depth which benefits each one of our girls We provide a safe and supportive environment that embraces and respects people of all faiths or none. Our reputation for excellent pastoral care finds its roots here. Within this framework our girls have the space to explore and develop their ethical, moral and spiritual values. They come to understand the benefits of tolerance and respect, the significance of human dignity and the duty of care which all leaders should have. They know what they stand for and appreciate the importance of their uniqueness.
