Materials:

• CleverPatch™ Tie Dye Paint – Mid Red – 250ml – 18195

• CleverPatch™ Tie Dye Paint – Black – 250ml – 18202

• CleverPatch™ Tie Dye Paint – Golden Yellow – 250ml – 18197

• Cotton Bags – Large – Pack of 10 – 10790

• Vinyl Gloves – Medium – Pack of 100 – 11234

• Rubber Bands – Size 18 – 100g Pack – 10653

• Other Materials Required: Large resealable bag, water and splash mat

1. Protect your work area with splash mats or scrap paper. To protect your hands, use gloves. Dampen the cotton bag with water.

2. Pinch the centre of the bag and pull it up. Tie a rubber band about 2-3cm down the pinched area. This will be the sun in your design.

3. Separate the bag into two equal halves with another rubber band. The end with the handles is the top half and the other end of the bag is the bottom half.

7. Place the dyed bag into a large plastic resealable bag and refrigerate overnight. After refrigeration, take the dyed bag out of the resealable bag. Allow the cotton bag to air dry completely before removing the remaining rubber band.

8. Rinse the bag under running water to remove excess dye. Allow to air dry fully. To heat set your design, place the bag in a dryer for 5-10 minutes on a hot setting. Alternatively, run an iron over the bag for 5-10 minutes.
