1. PROBLEM
The city of Newark, New Jersey is the 20th most dangerous, crime filled city that this country has to offer. The police do a decent job keeping the crime rate steady, to say the least, but their visual brand and therefore their visual reputation is lacking significantly. This results in a lack of authoritative presence and a lack of respect from the public.

STRATEGY
THE PLAN:
MOOD BOARD
VOICE:
strong friendly easy to navigate
SITE MAP:
4.
DESIGN
BADGE:
I first tried to remake their patch, stll utilizing their coat of arms, but by doing this, it became apparent that these things had to be much more modernzed.
HOME PAGE:
Above are an abundance of different home pages that I designed until I was able to find one that I thought worked the best. It needed to possess: - easy navigation - personalization - readily updatable info
LOGO:
- Needs to be easy to see fom far away and when moving quickly - Emphasis on the cohesion - Create a family of logos -for all materials/uses
MAIN SCREEN: Each time one of the main boxes are selected, it enlarges and the other boxes shink into a corner. This gives the user a ‘personlized’ touch, and allows information to be enhanced.
