WELCOME TO OUR FEBRUARY HALF TERM 2018 HOLIDAY CLUB AND ACTIVITY COURSE PROGRAMME! This February we have another full, action and adventure packed week lined up.

We are delighted to be able to offer an excellent range of fun opportunities in our usual stimulating and creative environment and the programme will be delivered, as always, to the highest professional standards.

This provides a stimulating and creative environment for young children during the holidays. Qualified and experienced staff will support children to engage in age-appropriate activities with particular attention paid to personal development, interaction with others and, most importantly, fun!

Minis must bring a packed lunch each day.

Juniors Holiday Club activities are designed specifically with 5–7 year olds in mind. Swimming is an important and enjoyable part of each daily programme and along with other activities, all led by experienced staff, the emphasis is on promoting individual development and, of course, fun. We believe it is important that children are able to pursue interests and develop skills through a range of activities and opportunities.

Juniors should bring a packed lunch each day.

Stay & Play until 1800) Age: 8–13 years Price: £44 (per day) Registration: Number 1 The Avenue (North Town), on corner of The Avenue/Guthrie Road BS8 3HE The typical Kids’ Club day includes a wide variety of activities that 8–13s enjoy. A freetime Swimming session is a very popular part of each morning’s activities. The other three main daily activity sessions are designed with varying interest and ability groups in mind and children can choose from a number of themed afternoon activities that take place both indoor and outdoor around Clifton College’s Sports Centre. Throughout our programme we promote self expression, confidence building and, of course, fun by offering as much choice as possible.

Registration: All courses will register in Number 1 The Avenue at 0945 and will conclude at 1600 unless otherwise stated. All day long courses include lunch.

If a course is taking place at our Sports Ground/ Activity Centre then a packed lunch may be provided due to limited catering facilities on the day.

Cookery

Music Producer for the Day

Price: £52 These popular, one-day courses will look at varying themes and recipes.

Lots of sweet and savoury recipes will be tried and tested with the results taken home for the family to enjoy.

Under close supervision, kitchen hygiene will also be covered.

Price: £50 Work alongside a professional Music Producer to learn the art of music production. Come up with themes for songs, play keyboards, produce beats and take away your own CD track.

Detailed menus available upon request but please note these are the dishes that we aim to do if time allows.

Children should wear old clothes and bring suitable storage containers to take food home.

8–1 Adventure in Drawing and Sculpture

A true adventure learning ancient skills such as animal tracking, shelter building, wilderness cooking and nature awareness. The perfect opportunity to go wild in a safe and fun environment in our own woodland setting. Visiting the countryside will never be the same again.

Young artists will spend the morning drawing from life and the imagination using an exciting range of artist materials. In the afternoon we will develop our drawings into wild costumes and models learning new 3D sculptural techniques with paper and card and creating a large scale installation by the end of the day.

Price: £50 Our Performance Football Courses are aimed at ambitious young players who want more from their coaching experience than just kicking a ball in to a net. Delivered by our experienced, qualified Football Association coaching staff, these high-level courses will focus on defending, controlling possession, finishing and staying on the ball. We believe these are the 4 main areas of football development we will look to improve the player as we believe these are the main topics of development which are needed most frequently by RU G Bpitch.
