Welcome to our October Half Term 2015 Holiday Club and Activity Course programme! This October we have another full, action and adventure packed week lined up. We are delighted to be able to offer an excellent range of fun opportunities in our usual stimulating and creative environment and the programme will be delivered, as always, to the highest professional standards. Please note that our early service (0800–1000) and our late service (1600–1800) continues to be included in the daily price for all age groups.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - REGISTRATION POINTS Minis (3-4 years) – Clifton College Nursery, Guthrie Road BS8 3HB = 3 Juniors (5-7 years) – Sharp’s House, The Avenue BS8 3EZ = 8 Kids’ Club & Activity Courses (8-13 years) – Prichard Room, Guthrie Road BS8 3EZ = 7 Kids’ Club (8-13 years) ONLY on Thursday 22nd – Sports Centre, Guthrie Road BS8 3EZ = 5 Note that on Thursday 22nd as Clifton College students are in lessons that day, Kids’ Club children will be transported by Clifton College minibus to our Abbots Leigh Sports Ground for activities during the morning and lunchtime before returning to the main site for afternoon activities. Look for the Registration Flag outside the entrance to each registration point

Minis Holiday Club is a service registered for 3–4 year old children based in Clifton College Nursery. This provides a stimulating and creative environment for young children during the holidays. Qualified and experienced staff will support children to engage in age-appropriate activities with particular attention paid to personal development, interaction with others and, most importantly, fun!

Minis should bring a packed lunch each day.

Juniors Holiday Club activities are designed specifically with 5–7 year olds in mind. Swimming is an important and enjoyable part of each daily programme and along with other activities, all led by experienced staff, the emphasis is on promoting individual development and, of course, fun. We believe it is important that children are able to pursue interests and develop skills through a range of activities and opportunities. Juniors should bring a packed lunch each day.

A fantastic opportunity to enjoy outdoor exploration of the landscape. A variety of exciting age specific creative activities linked to the great outdoors will make this morning session rewarding and enjoyable. Please note that children will travel by minibus to our forest school site at Clifton College Sports Ground, Abbots Leigh with qualified staff. Children will require outdoor clothes, wet weather gear and a change of footwear.

The typical Kids’ Club day includes a wide variety of activities that 8–13s enjoy. A freetime Swimming session is a very popular part of each morning’s activities. The other three main daily activity sessions are designed with varying interest and ability groups in mind and children can choose from a number of themed afternoon activities that take place both indoor and outdoor around Clifton College’s Sports Centre. Throughout our programme we promote self expression, confidence building and, of course, fun by offering as much choice as possible. Lunch included. Note that on Thursday 22nd as Clifton College students are in lessons that day, Kids’ Club children will be transported by Clifton College minibus to our Abbots Leigh Sports Ground for activities during the morning and lunchtime before returning to the main site for afternoon activities.

Accept the challenge to help find Blackbeard’s lost treasure before someone else does! Your action adventure day will have you and your team completing a variety of challenges in order to collect jigsaw pieces to create a map that shows where the treasure is buried.

Black widow spider bread, Pumpkin cake, Witches broomsticks, Gungy fruit punch. This one day course promises to be both informative and rewarding. Sweet and savoury recipes will be tried and tested with the results taken home for the family to enjoy.

The perfect opportunity to learn how to condition and care for different varieties of flowers and foliage and take home two beautiful high quality pieces made from fresh flowers related to the theme of Halloween including a pumpkin arrangement and an autumnal wreath.
