ARIZMENDI BAKERY
SAN TUNG
After you’ve had Arizmendi’s sourdough, you won’t want to eat any other bread. They’ve been serving up fresh bread, pasteries, and pizza for 19 years, with locations in Oakland, Berkeley, the Mission, and the Inner Sunset. I recommend coming here on a weekday to avoid any lines.
Plenty of places claim to have the best buffalo wings in the city, but only San Tung serves buffalo wings up next to delicious hand-pulled noodles, garlicy vegetable dishes, and other Chinese fare. The dry fried chicken wings are worth the hype and the trip.

THE LITTLE SHAMROCK
Rebuilt in 2008, the Academy has a rotating array of amazing exhibits along with a large underground aquarium and rainforest enclosure. It’s a great place to spend a rainy Sunday or to take the family for an outing. Be sure to say “hi” to Claude, their albino alligator.
A piece of San Francisco history and a cozy pub rolled into one, The Little Shamrock has the ideal balance of liveliness and intimacy. Opened in 1893, it is the second oldest bar in San Francisco. It even has a broken clock on the wall that stopped during the 1906 earthquake and hasn’t worked since.

SHANDONG RESTAURANT is the kind if place that would be easy to miss if it wasn’t for the long line of people waiting outside every day. Their large menu features plenty of classic Chinese dishes as well as housemade dumplings, hand-pulled noodles, and flavorful soups. The service and prices are excellent, making this a great place for a quick lunch or dinner with friends.
THE ACE HOTEL opened in 2009 in an in-between part of midown Manhattan, drawing a hip clientele of artists, foodies and musicians. It boasts the Michelin Star Breslin Bar and Dining Room as well as the John Dory Oyster Bar and a large event space. The rooms are cozy and impeccably designed, featuring art from local artists and eclectic touches like record players and guitars.
VANTAGE MAGAZINE / 18
ATLANTA is a fascinating hybrid, at once wholly Southern and unmistakably metropolitan. It is a major cultural capitol and is rapidly becoming a destination for foodies eager to try a modern spin on Southern food. It rivals New York and Los Angeles in terms of local music and art with a multitude of music venues and galleries to visit.

READ COVET
THE GIRLS is a chilling account of a cult leader’s outsized influence over a group of women during San Francisco’s Summer of Love. A gorgeously written, but at times quite disturbing, look at the excesses of an era that is now revered in San Francisco lore, The Girls offers a new perspective on youthful longing.
GHOSTBUSTERS is surrounded by no small amount of controversy, which belies the fact that it is a hilarious and charming reboot of the 1984 classic. It’s an excellent way for younger generations to experience the finely balanced humor, zaniness, and paranormal excitement of the originals with some decidedly modern touches.

POKEMON GO isn’t an original choice, but what can we say? We’re hooked! It might help that our office is a PokeStop, but most of the Climb staff is now taking part in this humble game app turned global phenomenon. It has lent a whole new level of excitement to building tours and open houses.
