Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant brings urban rustic style to the Rincon Hill neighborhood. The chefs in the kitchen have a mantra of keeping the food simple and doing it well. Their menu features wood-fired pizzas, mouth-watering roasted chicken, delicious pastas, and scrumptious desserts, plus a creative cocktail menu, beer taps featuring regional brews, and of course an impeccable wine list.

Gabby CafÊ is my favorite place to grab a quick, fresh, and hearty sandwich. The owner, Sam, really knows how to make people feel at home; it’s the kind of place that you like to hang around just have your sandwich and good conversation. This is a great family-run grocery mart that will give you that One Rincon Hill neighborhood feeling. You can always catch Sam and a crowd watching the 49ers games. I love this place!

RINCON HILL DOG PARK

The Hi Dive is the perfect stop before a ballgame, located right on the water between the Ferry Terminal and AT&T Park. Their fish tacos are made with fresh ono. Their portside patio for lunch on a sunny day after a long bike ride is hard to beat.

Some areas of the park are still under construction, including a couple of gaps in the fencing, so please still keep a close eye on your pooch until its completion. The good news is that the two off-leash areas are now open and quickly becoming celebrated part of the community.
