COVER PROPERT Y:

868 Minnesota #112

ESPRIT PARK 868 MINNESOTA ST. #112 | 1BR/1.5BA | $799,000

Mark Choey

This amazing 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom residence has it all. Situated on the first level of a peaceful inner courtyard, this property includes a spacious private patio that overlooks a beautifully designed courtyard with a fountain. Exposed brick walls and timber beams salvaged from the centuryold Schilling Wine Cellars are juxtaposed with waxed concrete floors with radiant heat underfoot. The living room has a custom vaulted ceiling feature with up-lighting, and in the kitchen, an abundance of hand-crafted wood cabinets and honed granite counters play warm counterpoint to the cool of stainless steel appliances (a Bertazzoni gas stove, Liebherr refrigerator, Viking hood, and Bosch dishwasher) and modern fixtures with clean lines. The master bedroom has two large side-byside closets with closet organizers and an en-suite bathroom where honed limestone and wood pair with sleek porcelain to create a tranquil space for starting and ending each day. The bath features a Carrara marble sink and a luxurious custom standing shower. A tankless energy-efficient radiant floor heating system heats the home. Included with this home are a one-car parking space and a storage locker.

868 Minnesota Street was developed in 2008 as the North Court of the Homes on Esprit Park. Originally built in 1906 as the Schilling Wine Cellars and later the headquarters for Esprit sportswear, the Esprit Park building represents a unique melding of historic and modern 142 loft-style homes that has helped to revitalize the historic Dogpatch neighborhood in Potrero Hill. Common amenities include two landscaped private courtyards with seating, a full exercise facility with cardiovascular and fitness equipment, a media room, electronic key access, a parttime front desk attendant and concierge, and full-size storage lockers for every home. Landscaping has been designed to incorporate many sustainable measures, and all finishes have been considered for their low environmental impact. Enjoy the convenient Dogpatch/Central Waterfront location, just minutes away from multiple Muni Metro and bus lines, Caltrain, and Interstate 280. 868 Minnesota is only a half block away from Esprit Park and is close to cafes, restaurants, and bars. The Dogpatch is ideally situated between the bustling waterfront of Mission Bay and the trendy neighborhood of Potrero Hill, offering residents easy access to either of these neighborhoods.

MR. AND MRS. MISCELLANEOUS

WATERFRONT TRAIL

This shop features hand-made Italian-style ice cream in a limited array of flavors (usually 8 at a time), so the selection is constantly changing but never disappointing. My favorite is Pink Squirrel; it’s one of the more popular flavors, but it’s worth the wait!

A great place to walk your pet or take a stroll and meet the locals in the area, this trail stretches along the waterfront from the Embarcadero, behind AT&T Ball Park, and through the Central Waterfront/ Dogpatch.

THIRD RAIL

MISSION ROCK RESORT

Swanky yet unpretentious, Third Rail is that modern neighborhood bar where you want everyone to know your name. Go for the handcrafted cocktails and jerky bar, stay for the super-friendly staff!

There are so many things to love about the Dogpatch! It has been my neighborhood for the past two years. One of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon in the DP is soaking up the sun and enjoying fresh oysters and bottomless mimosas at Mission Rock Resort. Hands down, it’s the best waterfront dining experience in San Francisco.
