Pass up Peets and Starbucks and head to Pirate Cafe on 21st. They serve a Maple Bacon Latte which is sinfully delicious. Everything is better when made with Bacon!

An absolutely amazing meal. The braised pork chop was heaven! With a cool Cape Cod sort of feel to this place nestled in the lower mission, this open layout exudes comfort. White wash walls, ceiling fans and an open floor-to-ceiling window entrance, this place is heaven to my eyes. On a nice day take advantage of their outdoor seating in front of the restaurant. If not, let the ceiling fan breeze over you as you enjoy yourself. Definitely a must-go-to restaurant!

The wine list will not disappoint since it offers a varied selection at varied price points. The interior has a beamed ceiling and walnut wood tables which give it a nice warm and casual feel. Cafe Gratitude on Harrison between 20th and 21st Streets is one of my favorite places to eat. 100% organic/vegan, I always leave feeling energized and better than before. The food is reasonably priced. The staff is helpful and attentive. This place will only be here until summer time so take advantage of it while you still can!
