A warm welcome Just as a chef works to perfectly coordinate flavours, so too have we curated our collection at The Table. Our products are designed in collaboration with artisans, the majority of whom are women. With passion, they craft each item by hand for us and for you. We work with these artisans under Fair Trade conditions to create beauty for everyday living. With our products, we strive to enhance your dining experience and help you show your guests how welcome they are. With the most cheerful season quickly approaching, we look forward to enjoying this cosy period with you. This winter edition is brimming with the warmth of the season, whether you are looking for an elegant table setting, a unique gift for a loved one, or simply a touch of extra warmth and cheer in your home. The best conversations start at a table that inspires conviviality. So don your warmest jumper, pour a glass of your favourite drink and be inspired. Welcome to our table, where makers’ stories blend together with your hospitality.

Atelier - Thyme A beautiful, deep green colour. Thyme, with all its charms, seamlessly complements the winter season. This fresh hue is reminiscent of the beautiful colour of pine trees, making it the perfect match during the holiday season.

Warm shades of green are also a must during the most festive time of the year. Pear blends beautifully into the winter colour palette, thanks to its brown tones. It adds just that little bit of warmth we are so fond of this season.

A welcoming get-together with family and friends.

The merriest time of the year is approaching. Enjoy delicious food, a crackling fire and a beautiful table setting where family and friends can gather. The finest conversations begin with charming table settings.

Conscious choice Our textile collection is also crafted with sustainability in mind. We couldn’t imagine doing things any other way and consider this to be of the utmost importance. Every step counts on the journey towards a fairer, cleaner and more beautiful world.

Step 1: a stack of eye-catchers This year also deserves to have a memorable Christmas. With that in mind, devote attention to the table setting and fill it with eye-catchers that complement your style. By stacking different plates, you not only create depth, but also your own unique style.

10

Step 2: elegant table linen Table styling isn’t complete without elegant napkins. Create a luxurious look at the table with casual and sustainable table linen. Add an extra sparkle by embellishing the napkins with ribbon or string.

A welcoming get-together | 11

Step 3: mix & match How do you style your stacked plates? We like to add a festive touch by combining different styles. Atelier is a beautiful base that accentuates the classic edge of the Attic collection. Make an even bolder statement by choosing plates in a different shade.

12

Step 4: dressing up the table Add a festive touch to your Christmas table with sophisticated details. A tastefully set table is only truly complete with elegant adornments. Hang festive poinsettias above the dining table, decorate your table with pine branches or drape a pretty string of lights over the table. This is how you add a sparkling finishing touch to the Christmas table.

Recipes The days are getting shorter and the sound of rain or snow creates a cosy sense of home. Warm yourself up with a hot chocolate or start your day with a homemade granola full of autumn spices and fragrances.

Granola with cinnamon & cardamon Homemade granola is an all-time favourite! Delicious for breakfast with plant-based milk or yoghurt and fresh fruit, over a smoothie bowl or as a healthy snack. The combination of cinnamon, cardamom and ginger essential oil give the granola a deliciously warm, spicy fragrance and flavour. It’s just like fresh-baked cookies in the oven.

ingredients 100 gr oat flakes 20 gr almond shavings

instructions Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In a large bowl, mix the oat flakes with almond shavings, pumpkin seeds, nuts, vanilla powder and sea salt.

40 gr pumpkin seeds 50 gr mixed nuts 1 tsp vanilla powder pinch of sea salt 2 tbsp coconut oil

Melt the coconut oil and stir into the granola along with the maple syrup. Mash the banana and stir it into the granola with a spatula or your hands, until all ingredients are well blended. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the granola on this.

2 tbsp maple syrup 1 whole ripe banana 50 gr dried apricots

Place a tray in the middle of the oven for about 15-20 minutes. Toss the granola halfway through with a wooden spoon.

50 gr raisins 3 drops of essential oil cinnamon

Remove the granola from the oven. Chop the apricots and stir them in along with the raisins.

3 drops of cardamon essential oil 3 drops of ginger essential oil

16

Add the drops of essential oil and blend. Let the granola cool completely before storing dry in a sealed jar or container.

Special hot chocolate On cold winter days, nothing beats warming up with a steaming mug of hot chocolate. You can, of course, enjoy a hot chocolate all year round, but during the dark days of winter, this special treat tastes just a little sweeter. No hassle with instant powders, but pure indulgence with real cocoa powder. Now that is truly delicious!

ingrediënts 500ml vegetable milk (such as oat milk) 2 fresh dates or 2 tbsp coconut sugar

instructions Place all ingredients (except the essential oil) in the blender or in a pan.

2 tsp cocoa powder

Turn the blender on for about six minutes or heat the milk on medium heat for about six minutes.

1 tsp maca or mushroom powder (such as reishi, chaga, etc)

Stir well, using a whisk if necessary to dissolve the cocoa.

3 drops of essential oil (such as peppermint or wild orange)

Finish by adding the essential oil. Divide between two mugs and add a light dusting of cocoa powder.
