Exceed Switch Rods come in three line weights and are great tools for the angler that wants the best of both worlds. LPXe Switch rods have borrowed part of their action curves to these rods and then we started making small changes here and there. Unique to these rods is the lightness and the slightly shorter butt and full wells handles. Ifhereyou are unfortunate enough to break your rod, is some important information.

Many of the rods that we sell come with a warranty, some with a lifetime unconditional warranty, some with a 5 year warranty and some with a manufracturers fault warranty. Please keep your warranty card in a safe place as you will need this in the event that you break the rod. Below are the details of the warranties that are included with each rod brand.

WORLDWIDE EXTENDED WARRANTY PRODUCT REPAIR SERVICE We are delighted that you have chosen a Hardy carbon/glass fibre rod. As an owner of a Hardy carbon/glass fibre rod, you are entitled to take part in the WEW Product Repair Service. To do so, you need to register your rod within 60 days of purchase using the registration form here. You will receive an email confirming your registration. Once you have registered to take part in the WEW Product Repair Service you will be entitled for the lifetime of the product to the repair or replacement (at our discretion) of damaged, broken or defective sections of your rod in accordance with these terms. The WEW Product Repair Service is in addition to and does not affect or reduce the owner’s statutory rights which cover against manufacturing faults and mis-described goods during the statutory period. Please ensure you retain proof of purchase as this will be requested upon making a claim under your statutory rights.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? A handling and repair/replacement fee will be chargeable for each claim made under the WEW Product Repair Service. Rods - Worldwide Extended Warranty

All Guideline flyrods carry a 3 year warranty against manufacture or material faults. The average cost per section is €59. If you do break your rod please contact us.

Rods manufactured since January 2009 are covered by our Worldwide Extended Warranty. Claims under the Worldwide Extended Warranty are currently subject to the following charges: £25 handling, administration and return postage and packing charge (per claim). Plus: 10% of the current, or last, Recommended Retail Price of the rod (per section, per claim). Rod sections are to be sent to the following address:

Most Orvis Rods (except Streamline) carry an 25 year Guarantee. If you break you Orvis rod please contact us for details.

Sage rods carry a lifetime warranty. If you break your Sage rod please contact us. The average warranty claim costs €60 per section.

General information on how Flyfish Europe’s Simms warranty works: If a Simms product fails due to workmanship or material defect during the life of the product, please return it to us for repair or replacement. This warranty does not cover damages caused by improper care, accidents or the natural breakdown of materials over extended use and time. All defective or damaged products should be returned to Flyfish Europe AS for evaluation and will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Flyfish Europe AS. Be aware of: Self Repairs on seams on waterproof breathable garments can affect the Warranty. What Simms “life time” warranty means: It means the life of the product, not the life time of the customer. When the product eventually is Worn Out by improper use, care or normal wear and tear all warranties cease to exist.
