APRIL SHOWERS AND COONLEY TULIPS
In 1927, Frank Lloyd Wright designed a series of twelve seasonally themed monthly covers for Liberty magazine. The magazine deemed the covers too avant-garde and returned them to Wright. Each design of the Liberty magazine covers is an example of Wright’s practice of using the tools of his trade: a t-square, triangle, and compass to create lively, geometric designs. Cloud9’s adaptation of April Showers and Coonley Tulips adapts Wright’s well-known illustration into a dynamic and fluid pattern perfect for your quilting adventures.
DOMINIKA is a freelance illustrator and surface pattern designer from Czech Republic. Her work is colorful, bright, modern, and full of fun spinoffs on classic motifs and themes. She enjoys creating whimsical characters and floral-filled patterns. While Dominika designs for a variety of projects ranging from stationary to greeting cards to home decor, her favorite is designing for children.

ANN is a surface designer living in Irving, Texas. Being raised by creative parents who, among other things, made their own Christmas cards at the kitchen table, Ann learned how much fun it was to make things with her hands. She grew up creating with paints, crayons, and colored pencils. Later in life Ann turned all that creativity towards graphic design which led her love of creating patterns.

Likewise, our projects have been tested and reviewed, but sometimes things slip by. If you find an error, please let us know so we can correct it.
Some of our projects may be in development at the time of this publication, but will be available when the fabric is shipped. Therefore, our estimates for fabric requirements may change.
We do our best to bring you new fabric when we promise, but all of our expected delivery dates can change for a number of reasons.
