Installations
It was great to see Bro. Willie Fleming PM 1042 Honorary Member 242 being installed as the Provincial Grand Master of the Royal Order for Glasgow and the West of Scotland on 31st October in the Trades Hall.
The Royal Order of Scotland is one of the most historic Orders within Freemasonry and can trace its regal roots back seven hundred years to Robert the Bruce.

Congratulations to Bro. Alistair Griffiths as the new master of 242. The installation took place on 11th November with over 80 in attendance. Congratulations also to Bros. David Black PM and Alex Stobo PM Sec as installing masters.
On Saturday 12th November, the knights of St. George Conclave No.79 in Port Glasgow attended the Grand Imperial Conclave in Perth to witness the new Intendant General of Strathclyde, V Ill Kt Grant Macleod, being commissioned. This was unusual in that he was taking over from V Ill Kt Ken Blackie, both from 242.
The Installation of Bro. Des McCulloch PM into the chair of Lodge Captain Spiers No.791 took place last month with a super turn out from his Mother Lodge as shown.
Nice colourised version of the ceremony of laying the foundation stone at Lodge Firth of Clyde No.626 in Gourock with a local militia, some brave ladies and the brethren all mixing.
