Architectural Department Hall

Parter: Wu Zhexuan, Chen Xiangying, Chen Jia As a space for students to learn and cogitate, the design of a school of architecture should focus on communication which enhance students’ efficiencies. However, most of the school of architecture in china were set up just the same as a common school building, lacking of communion space. LECTURE HALL gEnERATIon In order to AnD inspire communication, a new prototype is set up and applied to all quarters of the hall. ELEvATIon As academic communication can be divided into four types, we choose to set up differsometimes students will find that the lecture they are taking is boring or to them. In our design, allow studentsof to transfer between different themesuseless to arrange thewespaces each quarter in depth. ent lectures according to the information they catch through the lucid facade of lecture between different lectures and but need to be unified in form. Four quarters ofrooms, thecreating halla communication are diverse in function students, so as to promote the efficient of lectures. Therefore, We originated from a cube and follow a similar logic to develop the spaces of each quarter. LogIC AnALYsIs

Community Center Design

Parter: Lan Tianyu, Liao Shaolin, Xu Jiawen The project is located in a "urban village" called the "Longjin" village in Guangzhou. The same as most of this kind of village, Longjin village has the problems of lacking of activity space, running out of young workers, the elderly and children are short of care, etc. Hence we would like to consider this design as a prototype solution for similar conditions. The variable space is consist of a group of special doors moving along the orbit. Different space of different usage are formed through the variable combination of these doors. Moreover, the doors themselves are transformable, in order to adapt to different functions of the space

Space Emancipation Architecture School

04

Personal

In the traditional conception method of architecture, architects will normally decide the space, function, appearance of the building, and then to decide what structure they are going to use, and how. This project is to discuss the possibility of setting up a structure system at the first place, and fill in the spaces according to the rule and discipline of the structure system. Thus the space can be emancepated from the traditional method, and discover more possibility of organizing and composing.
