My sister (on left) is dancing with the sunrise and I'm swimming with the moon. The airplane in between us shows how we lived apart from each other for many years. It is the reason for "Stand by me" She's on a mountain in this picture and I'm in the sea which are locations mentioned in the second verse.

My photo embodies the lyrics of the song. The lyrics describe darkness and night and for that reason I associated them more with cold colors. The music itself is light and happy, gold and warm colors represent this.

She is the music and I am the lyrics .

I choose the colors pallet based on how the song gives me nostalgia, they aren't fully vibrant. They are a bit faded: The colors are like a good memory,
