Who we are

The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) is a world leader in chiropractic education and research. A not-for-profit academic institution, CMCC offers a second entry undergraduate professional degree as well as postgraduate and continuing education programs. CMCC receives no direct government funding and relies on fundraising events, sponsorships, tuition, and donations for support.

As the sole chiropractic educational institution in English speaking Canada, the majority of Canadian chiropractors are CMCC graduates. CMCC shares research, educational and clinical expertise with partners in North America and abroad.

About the event

Backs in Motion is CMCC’s annual 10km run and 5km run/walk. This year is Backs in Motion’s 40th Anniversary! We hope you join us in celebrating this accomplishment by participating and/or sponsoring. We look forward to raising significant funds with your help, in support of chiropractic education, research, and patient care at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College!

Backs in Motion brings together competitive and recreational participants of all ages. The course explores the beautiful East Don Parkland trail, a northerly, scenic stretch of the Don offering a chance to see the river and its valley unencumbered by rail lines and expressways.
