How to punch a border with any border punch:
Step 1
Insert your paper so the far edge lines up with the small black marking on the front of the punch.
Step 2
Making sure the paper is pushed to the back of the punch, press down on the top lever to cut the first section of your border.

To cut the next section of your border, move the section you’ve just punched to line up with the pattern on the punch tray and punch again.

Continue along the length of the paper.

How to punch a frame with select border punches:
Step 1
Start with a paper sized in even increments, no smaller than 4" x 4". It does not need to be square, for example: 4" x 6", 8" x 12", etc.
Step 5
Rotate the paper and align this small rectangular piece with the long silver markings on the other side of the punch tray and punch again.
Step 2
Insert your paper so the far edge lines up with the long silver markings on the punch tray.
Step 6
Repeat steps 2-5 with the three remaining corners of your paper.
Step 3
Making sure the paper is pushed to the back of the punch, press down on the top lever to cut the first section of your frame.
Step 7
If you started with a 6" x 6" or smaller piece of paper, you're done! For larger papers, punch the remaining edges by aligning your corners with the pattern on the punch tray and punch again.
Step 4
When you remove the paper from the punch there will be a small piece of rectangular unpunched paper in the corner.
Step 8
Continue along the length of the paper on all remaining edges.

How to use:
Step 1
With the bottom tray flipped out and clicked in place, lift up the arm on the Guide and slide the paper under until it aligns with the edge of the tray.

Step 2
Close the arm (magnets will hold the paper in place) and flip the bottom tray back into place.
Step 4
Slide the edge of the paper into the slot on the Border Maker and line up the notch on the lever with the notch on the Guide arm.
Step 6
Lift up the arm on the Guide to release the paper.

Insert the cartridge into the Border Maker until it clicks in place, raising the white lever.
Step 5
Holding down the Guide with one hand, press down on the lever with the other hand to create the border design. Continue moving the Border Maker along the Guide, aligning to each notch and pressing the lever to complete the border.
Step 7
Remove the cartridge by pressing the button on the back of the Border Maker.

You now have the flexibility to make a perfect circle in any size that you need. When you’ve cut 1,500 circles, just replace the blade and keep going! Use the opposite side with a pencil or pen to draw perfect circles of any size.
