WARD: Cheselden Ward, 1st Floor, Princess Anne Wing TELEPHONE No: 01225 428331 (Hospital Switchboard) Ext. or direct line to treatment area: DIRECTIONS TO HOSPITAL: Sat Nav will probably take you to the Hospital via the northern approaches towards Weston, thus avoiding the city centre: If you are approaching from the West, North or East, take Bath A46 exit 18 from the M4 motorway. After approximately 23 miles, you come to a roundabout where you turn right on to the A420. Take the first turning left and after approx. 3 miles, at a T-junction on a nasty bend on a hill, turn left. After approx. 1 mile, you will see Bath Racecourse on your right. Just after a pub called the Blathwayte Arms on your right, take a little turning on the right signposted Weston. This is a narrow road, down a steep hill (6 foot maximum width). At the bottom of the hill, turn left at a mini roundabout which takes you into Weston village. Keep going on this road and you will see the Royal United Hospital on your right. The RUH is situated off the main A4 Bath to Bristol road. It has two entrances located on Combe Park road – the Main Entrance and the Accident & Emergency entrance. Take A&E (2 nd) entrance for the Princess Anne wing. Take A&E entrance. Pass A&E and follow road round to the Princess Anne wing on your right. Unload at main doors. DIRECTIONS TO WARD: After entering the Princess Anne Wing, take the lift to the first floor. The door to Urology Outpatients department is next to lifts, enter here. (If doors are locked go round the corner to Cheselden ward, enter ward and ask nurses to let you in to Urology department from the rear door as you require swipe card. Through locked door, through double doors on left, through double doors ahead turn left through door, down corridor then open doors and prop open. This is where your equipment is (See attached plan)). Walk down corridor through doors into reception, go through double doors on your right. There is a set of double doors on your right called “Cystoscopy Suite” with a push button door lock (code: C1230X) This is the Treatment Room - Install in here on left hand side of room.
